CUET simply is a pathway to BA, BSc, Bcom, BBA, BCA, and BMS programs. CUCET (Central Universities Common Entrance Test) was the previous name for CUET. Previously, the UGC administered this exam on paper.

However, in 2022, NTA (National Testing Agency) took over the responsibility.
